About Priscilla M. Barnes, LMFT

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Priscilla Barnes has invested over 30 years in the field of psychology.

Her career as a psychotherapist actually began as a teacher nurturing young adults who were venturing into the workforce. Her involvement with this segment of adulthood inspired her to pursue her own Masters in Clinical Psychology.

Ms. Barnes then established her family-oriented counseling practice in West Los Angeles and worked there as a psychotherapist for many years prior to moving to Northern California. Her client-base in Southern California, who continued to seek her guidance, inspired her to launch a telephone-based practice. Furthermore, as some of Ms. Barnes' clients left Los Angeles as well, they were able to remain in contact with her and refer her marriage and family psychotherapy services to clients in other cities. Now, with a telephone-based practice, she is able to assist clients in all regions of the world, regardless of their location.
